Indications
Nubrenza is indicated for the treatment of Parkinson's disease and the treatment of restless legs syndrome symptoms. Rotigotine, its active ingredient, acts as a dopamine receptor agonist, helping to improve mobility and reduce stiffness in patients diagnosed with these conditions. Medical evaluation is recommended to adjust the dose according to the patient's specific needs and the progression of the disease.
Composition
Each transdermal patch contains 6 mg of rotigotine, as well as excipients to ensure controlled release of the drug over 24 hours. It is important to follow the doctor's instructions regarding the placement and frequency of patch changes.
Contraindications
Nubrenza is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to rotigotine or to any of the excipients in the patch. Its use is not recommended in patients with a history of psychotic disorders or manic episodes, as well as in those with severe hepatic insufficiency.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of hypotension, cardiovascular diseases, or blood pressure regulation problems. Likewise, medical supervision is recommended if the patient is taking other medications that act on the central nervous system. It is important to inform the doctor about any changes in the patient's condition or the appearance of adverse effects.
Storage
The product should be stored in its original packaging, in a dry and cool place, at temperatures not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
