Indications
Norvas (Amlodipine) is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension and for the management of angina pectoris, both stable and variant. This medication acts as a calcium channel blocker, which allows the relaxation of blood vessels and, consequently, the reduction of blood pressure. The use of Norvas may be considered in patients who have not achieved adequate blood pressure control with other antihypertensive medications or as a combination therapy.
Composition
Each Norvas tablet contains 5 mg of Amlodipine as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that facilitate its formulation and absorption.
Contraindications
Norvas is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Amlodipine or any of the product's excipients. Its use is not recommended in patients with cardiogenic shock, unstable angina, or severe heart failure.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Norvas to patients with hepatic or renal insufficiency, as well as those with a history of heart disease. It is important to monitor blood pressure regularly and adjust the dose according to the patient's clinical response. Patients should be informed about the possibility of adverse effects, such as dizziness or drowsiness, which may affect their ability to drive or operate machinery.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
