Indications
Norex Ap (Amfepramone) is indicated as an adjunct in the treatment of obesity. It is used in patients with a body mass index (BMI) greater than or equal to 30 kg/m², or greater than or equal to 27 kg/m² in the presence of obesity-related comorbidities, such as type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, or dyslipidemia. Its action is based on appetite suppression, which contributes to weight reduction, thus facilitating the control of obesity-related risk factors. Amfepramone should be used in combination with a comprehensive weight management plan that includes diet and regular physical exercise.
Composition
Each tablet contains: Amfepramone 75 mg.
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to amfepramone or any component of the formula. It should not be used in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, uncontrolled hypertension, severe psychiatric disorders, uncontrolled thyroid disorders, or in those who are being treated with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or in whom treatment has been discontinued within the last 14 days.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of drug or alcohol abuse, as well as in those with a history of seizures. It is recommended to monitor blood pressure and heart rate during treatment. Its use is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
