Indications
Norditropin Pen is indicated for the treatment of growth hormone deficiency in children and adolescents with short stature, as well as in adults with growth hormone deficiency. This medication is also used for the treatment of Turner syndrome and Prader-Willi syndrome. In adults, it is prescribed to improve body composition, bone mineral density, and quality of life. Additionally, it may be useful in patients with chronic diseases that affect growth.
Composition
Each Norditropin pen contains somatropin, a recombinant form of human growth hormone, in a suitable concentration for subcutaneous administration. The pen includes other excipients that ensure the stability and preservation of the solution.
Contraindications
Norditropin should not be administered to patients with known hypersensitivity to somatropin or any of the product's components. It is contraindicated in patients with active tumors or those undergoing active treatment for malignant diseases. Furthermore, its use is not recommended in patients with severe respiratory diseases or those with complications from uncontrolled diabetes mellitus.
Precautions
Special care should be taken in patients with a history of malignant diseases, diabetes mellitus, and endocrine disorders. Regular follow-up during treatment is important to assess growth and response to the medication. Adequate blood glucose control is also recommended during treatment.
Storage
Norditropin should be stored in a refrigerator between 2°C and 8°C. Do not freeze. Once opened, it can be stored at room temperature (up to 25°C) for a maximum of 4 weeks. Keep out of reach of children.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
