Indications
Nivelare is indicated for the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders associated with functional dyspepsia, such as feelings of fullness, abdominal distension, epigastric pain, and nausea. It is also used in the management of gastroparesis, a condition in which stomach emptying is delayed, which can lead to discomfort and complications. This medication acts as a prokinetic, facilitating the transit of gastric contents and improving intestinal motility.
Composition
Each Nivelare tablet contains 50 mg of Itopride as the active ingredient. Additionally, it includes excipients such as corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, and magnesium stearate, among others.
Contraindications
Nivelare is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Itopride or any of the excipients in the formulation. It should also be avoided in those with a history of gastrointestinal bleeding or in cases of mechanical intestinal obstruction. Its use in patients with severe hepatic and renal insufficiency is not recommended.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease or in those who are being treated with medications that may affect gastrointestinal motility. Furthermore, it is recommended to evaluate therapy if the patient presents persistent or worsening symptoms.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
