Indications

Nitroderm TTS is indicated for the treatment of angina pectoris, a condition characterized by chest pain due to inadequate blood flow to the heart. This medication acts as a vasodilator, helping to improve blood flow and relieve the symptoms associated with angina. It can also be used in emergency situations for the control of chest pain related to stable or unstable angina. Transdermal administration allows for continuous and controlled release of the drug, which facilitates treatment adherence and improves patients' quality of life.

Composition

Each Nitroderm TTS patch contains 25 mg of Glyceryl Trinitrate as the active ingredient. Additionally, it may contain excipients that allow for the correct release of the medication through the skin.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to Glyceryl Trinitrate or any other component of the formulation. It should not be used in patients with severe anemia, closed-angle glaucoma, or in those who are using phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors, such as sildenafil, due to the risk of severe hypotension.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with heart failure, hypothyroidism, or in those who have recently suffered a myocardial infarction. It is important to monitor blood pressure regularly during treatment with Nitroderm TTS, especially in the first few days of use. Likewise, caution should be exercised in elderly patients or in those who are taking other medications that may interact with nitrates.

Storage

Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius, in a dry place protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
