Indications
Nexium Mups is indicated for the treatment of various conditions related to excessive acid production in the stomach. It is used in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), which can cause symptoms such as heartburn and regurgitation. It is also indicated for the treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers, as well as for the eradication of Helicobacter pylori in combination with antibiotics. Furthermore, it is used in the prevention of gastric lesions induced by non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) in high-risk patients.
Composition
Each Nexium Mups tablet contains 40 mg of esomeprazole, as well as excipients necessary for the formulation of the medication.
Contraindications
The use of Nexium Mups is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to esomeprazole, other proton pump inhibitors, or any of the excipients in the formulation. It is also contraindicated in patients with a history of severe allergic reactions to these components.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Nexium Mups to patients with liver or kidney failure, as well as those with a history of gastrointestinal diseases. An appropriate medical evaluation is recommended before initiating treatment. Additionally, it is important to consider the possibility of vitamin B12 deficiency in prolonged treatments.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
