Indications
Neupax (Alprazolam) is indicated for the treatment of anxiety disorders, including generalized anxiety disorder and panic attacks. This medication acts on the central nervous system, providing an anxiolytic effect that helps reduce anxiety symptoms and create a sense of calm. It is also used in the management of anxiety-related symptoms in depressive disorders and in situations of acute stress.
Composition
Each Neupax tablet contains 1 mg of Alprazolam, as well as excipients necessary for the formulation of the medication.
Contraindications
Neupax should not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to Alprazolam or any of the components of the formula. It is contraindicated in individuals with closed-angle glaucoma, severe respiratory failure, and in those who present symptoms of severe depression or sleep disorders that have not been adequately evaluated. It is also contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Neupax to patients with a history of substance abuse, depression, or medical conditions that may increase the risk of adverse effects. It is important to assess the possibility of dependence and withdrawal syndrome, especially after prolonged use. Clinical response monitoring and dose adjustment as needed are recommended.
