Indications
Neupax (Alprazolam) is indicated for the treatment of anxiety disorders and panic disorders. It is used in patients with symptoms of generalized anxiety, as well as in those who experience anxiety episodes associated with depression. This medication acts on the central nervous system, providing a sedative and anxiolytic effect. It is important that the use of Neupax is carried out under medical supervision and according to the specific indications for each patient.
Composition
Each Neupax tablet contains 0.50 mg of Alprazolam as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that facilitate its formulation and administration.
Contraindications
Neupax is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Alprazolam or any other component of the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with narrow-angle glaucoma, severe respiratory insufficiency, or in those with a history of substance abuse. Likewise, its use during pregnancy and lactation should be carefully evaluated by a physician.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Neupax to patients with a history of liver or kidney disorders, as well as those with respiratory diseases. Treatment with Alprazolam can lead to dependence, so it is advisable not to prolong its use beyond the time recommended by the doctor. In addition, alcohol intake should be avoided during treatment, as it can enhance the sedative effects of the medication.
