Indications
Neupax (Alprazolam) is indicated for the treatment of anxiety disorders and panic disorders. Its anxiolytic action helps relieve symptoms such as tension, restlessness, and generalized anxiety. It is also used in the management of symptoms associated with anxiety disorders due to stressful situations. This medication acts on the central nervous system, providing a calming effect and facilitating the management of anxiety in diagnosed patients.
Composition
Each Neupax tablet contains 0.50 mg of Alprazolam as the active ingredient. Excipients include: lactose monohydrate, starch, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, and silicon dioxide.
Contraindications
Neupax is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Alprazolam or any of the excipients in the formulation. It is also contraindicated in those with narrow-angle glaucoma, severe respiratory insufficiency, and in patients with a history of substance abuse or drug dependence.
Precautions
Caution is advised in patients with a history of depression, liver or kidney diseases, and in those who consume alcohol or medications that depress the central nervous system. Prolonged use can lead to dependence and the appearance of withdrawal symptoms upon discontinuation of treatment.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the packaging.
