Indications
Neo-Melubrina is indicated for the treatment of acute and chronic painful conditions, such as: postoperative pain, pain associated with renal or biliary colic, and headache. It is also used for the management of high fever that does not respond to other antipyretics. This medication acts as an analgesic and antipyretic, providing effective relief in situations of intense pain and in controlling elevated body temperature. It is important that its use is supervised by a physician, who will determine the duration of treatment and the most appropriate dose according to the patient's needs.
Composition
Each Neo-Melubrina tablet contains 500 mg of Metamizole Sodium as the active ingredient. Additionally, it may contain excipients that facilitate the formulation and stability of the product.
Contraindications
Neo-Melubrina is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Metamizole Sodium or to any of the components of the formula. It should not be administered in cases of acute porphyria, severe liver failure, or in patients with a history of agranulocytosis or hematological disorders. Its use during pregnancy and lactation should be evaluated by a physician.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Neo-Melubrina to patients with kidney or liver diseases, as well as in those who consume excessive alcohol or who have a history of gastrointestinal problems. Hematological monitoring is recommended for prolonged treatments due to the risk of hematological adverse effects. The recommended dose should not be exceeded without appropriate medical supervision.
