Indications
Nefryl is indicated for the treatment of urinary incontinence and bladder hyperactivity. It is used in patients who present symptoms such as urinary urgency, increased urinary frequency, and episodes of incontinence. Oxybutynin, its active ingredient, acts as an anticholinergic that relaxes the bladder muscles, helping to reduce involuntary bladder activity and improve urine storage capacity. This medication is especially useful in conditions such as interstitial cystitis and in surgical procedures that affect bladder function.
Composition
Each 100 ml of Nefryl Syrup contains 100 mg of oxybutynin as an active ingredient. Excipients: purified water, sorbitol, citric acid, among others.
Contraindications
Nefryl is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to oxybutynin or to any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in individuals with narrow-angle glaucoma, myasthenia gravis, severe gastrointestinal or urinary obstruction. Likewise, special caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, or kidney and liver problems.
Precautions
Nefryl should be used with caution in elderly patients and in those with diseases that may be aggravated by the anticholinergic action of the medication. It is important to monitor patients with conditions such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), as oxybutynin can cause dryness of respiratory secretions. Likewise, possible interactions with other medications that have anticholinergic effects should be considered.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
