Nazil Drops is indicated for the temporary relief of nasal congestion associated with colds, sinusitis, and allergic rhinitis. This medication can be used to facilitate breathing in patients with respiratory conditions that present nasal obstruction. Naphazoline acts as a local vasoconstrictor, reducing the inflammation of blood vessels in the nasal mucosa, which allows for rapid unblocking of the airways. It is important to follow a doctor's instructions to ensure proper and effective use of the medication.
Composition
Each ml of Nazil Drops contains 1 mg of naphazoline as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that facilitate the product's formulation.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients who present hypersensitivity to naphazoline or to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with cardiovascular diseases, uncontrolled hypertension, or in those who are taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs). Its use in children under 12 years of age should be carefully evaluated by a doctor.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in its use in patients with diabetes, thyroid diseases, or prostate problems. Prolonged use can cause a rebound effect, increasing nasal congestion. It is essential to follow medical recommendations regarding the duration of treatment.
