Indications

Naxzalla is indicated for the treatment of primary hypercholesterolemia (heterozygous familial and non-familial) in adult and pediatric patients aged 10 years and older. It is also used to reduce the risk of cardiovascular events in patients with established cardiovascular disease, as well as to prevent cardiovascular disease in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and other risk factors. This medication works by reducing total cholesterol, LDL (bad cholesterol), and triglyceride levels, as well as increasing HDL (good cholesterol) levels.

Composition

Each Naxzalla tablet contains 10 mg of Ezetimibe and 20 mg of Rosuvastatin, as well as necessary excipients for the product's formulation.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the formula's components, as well as in those with active or persistent liver disease or unexplained transaminase elevation. Its use is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of liver disease, myopathy, and in those who consume excessive alcohol. It is important to perform liver function tests before starting treatment and during its use. It is also recommended to assess the possibility of interactions with other medications the patient may be taking.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
