Indications
Naphacel Ofteno is indicated for the treatment of ocular congestion and eye irritation. It is useful for the temporary relief of symptoms associated with exposure to environmental irritants, such as smoke, dust, and pollen. Additionally, it is used for conditions such as allergic conjunctivitis and eye strain caused by prolonged contact lens wear or long hours in front of screens. The combination of Naphazoline and Hypromellose provides a decongestant and moisturizing effect, helping to maintain eye health.
Composition
Each milliliter of Naphacel Ofteno contains: Naphazoline 1 mg and Hypromellose 5 mg. Excipients: sodium chloride, benzethonium chloride, hydrochloric acid, and purified water.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with angle-closure glaucoma or in those with severe cardiovascular diseases. It should not be used in children under 3 years of age without medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using Naphacel Ofteno in patients with hypertension, diabetes mellitus, or thyroid diseases. Prolonged use of the product should be avoided to prevent the risk of rebound effect in ocular congestion. If symptoms persist for more than three days, a doctor should be consulted.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
