Indications
Mydocalm-A is indicated for the treatment of painful conditions related to the musculoskeletal system, such as muscle spasms, acute and chronic pain, as well as an adjunct therapy in the management of neuropathic pain. The combination of tolperisone and paracetamol provides an analgesic and muscle relaxant action, which can facilitate mobility and improve the quality of life of patients with conditions requiring effective pain management. It is important that its use be indicated by a healthcare professional who evaluates the need and suitability of the treatment according to the patient's diagnosis.
Composition
Each Mydocalm-A capsule contains 50 mg of tolperisone and 300 mg of paracetamol as active ingredients. It also contains excipients that facilitate its formulation and absorption.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It should also be avoided in patients with a history of severe liver disorders and in those with advanced neuromuscular diseases. Its use is not recommended in children under 12 years of age without the supervision of a physician.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Mydocalm-A to patients with a history of liver, kidney, or hematological disease. Likewise, it is suggested to monitor patients who are undergoing concomitant treatments with other drugs that may affect liver function.
