Indications

Mucovibrol is indicated for the treatment of respiratory diseases where mucus production is excessive or where fluidification is required. It is especially useful in cases of:

  • Chronic bronchitis
  • Bronchial asthma
  • Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
  • Pneumonia

Ambroxol acts as a mucolytic that helps reduce mucus viscosity, facilitating its expulsion through coughing, thereby improving respiratory function and oxygenation of the body.

Composition

Each 100 ml of solution contains:

  • Ambroxol hydrochloride: 300 mg
  • Excipients: sodium chloride, hydrochloric acid, purified water, among others.

Contraindications

It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to ambroxol or to any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with active gastric or duodenal ulcers.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers, as well as in those with liver or kidney diseases. In case of persistent cough, it is recommended to consult a doctor.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Protect from direct light. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
