Indications
Mucosolvan (Ambroxol) is indicated for the treatment of respiratory disorders associated with excessive production of mucous secretions. It is used in conditions such as bronchitis, asthma, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), where mucolytic action is required to facilitate mucus expulsion. Additionally, it is useful in the management of respiratory infections and in situations where improved respiratory function is sought by reducing mucus viscosity. Its mucolytic action allows the patient to experience an improvement in respiratory capacity and relief from symptoms related to bronchial congestion.
Composition
Each 100 ml of solution contains: Ambroxol hydrochloride 600 mg, excipients: sodium chloride, hydrochloric acid, purified water.
Contraindications
Mucosolvan is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to ambroxol or any component of the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with active gastric or duodenal ulcers due to the possibility of irritation. Caution should also be exercised in those with severe liver or kidney diseases.
Precautions
It should be used with caution in patients with a history of gastrointestinal problems or those with chronic cough. It is important to monitor asthma patients, as the use of mucolytics can cause bronchospasm in some cases. Furthermore, it is recommended to evaluate liver and kidney function before starting treatment.

Store at room temperature, in a dry place and away from heat sources. Keep the bottle tightly closed and out of reach of children.
