Indications
Mucosolvan is indicated for the treatment of respiratory conditions involving mucus production, as it acts as a mucolytic, facilitating mucus elimination by reducing its viscosity. It is used in conditions such as bronchitis, asthma, and other chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases where there is difficulty expelling secretions. Mucosolvan can also be used as part of the treatment for acute and chronic respiratory infections that require sputum fluidification to improve respiratory function.
Composition
Each Mucosolvan ampule contains: Ambroxol hydrochloride 15 mg.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Ambroxol or any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is not recommended in patients with active peptic ulcer or in those with severe renal insufficiency without proper supervision by a healthcare professional.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of liver disease, as well as in those with severe gastrointestinal motility problems. It is important to consider the administration of Mucosolvan in pregnant or breastfeeding women, where the risk-benefit of its use should be evaluated. Adequate monitoring is recommended in patients who experience allergic reactions during treatment.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
