Indications
Motrin 600 mg is used for the treatment of various conditions requiring pain relief and inflammation reduction. It is indicated for the management of:
- Mild to moderate pain, such as headache, muscle pain, dental pain, and dysmenorrhea.
- Inflammatory conditions, such as arthritis and other rheumatic diseases.
- Fever, in cases where an antipyretic is required.
Ibuprofen acts by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis, resulting in a decrease in pain and inflammation.
Composition
Each Motrin tablet contains:
- Ibuprofen: 600 mg
- Excipients: Microcrystalline cellulose, starch, magnesium stearate, among others.
Contraindications
Motrin should not be used in patients with:
- Known allergy to ibuprofen or any of its components.
- Active gastric or duodenal ulcers.
- Severe kidney diseases.
- Severe heart failure.
- Pregnancy (especially in the third trimester) and lactation, unless indicated by a doctor.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with:
- Asthma, as it may cause a bronchospasm episode.
- Cardiovascular diseases and a history of gastrointestinal bleeding.
- Hepatic or renal insufficiency.
It is important to monitor renal and hepatic function in patients treated with long-term ibuprofen.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.
