Indications
Motilium suspension is indicated for the treatment of nausea and vomiting, as well as for the relief of symptoms related to gastrointestinal disorders such as dyspepsia and gastroesophageal reflux. It is also used in the management of gastroparesis in diabetic patients and in situations where an increase in gastrointestinal motility is required, thus facilitating gastric emptying. It is important to note that the administration of this medication must be supervised by a healthcare professional, who will determine the dose and duration of treatment according to the specific needs of the patient.
Composition
Each milliliter of suspension contains 1 mg of domperidone as the active ingredient. Other components include excipients that contribute to the product's formulation.
Contraindications
Motilium is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to domperidone or to any of the components of the formula. It is also contraindicated in patients with a history of QT interval prolongation, cardiac arrhythmias, or those who are receiving treatment with medications that may cause QT prolongation. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe liver diseases.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Motilium to patients with conditions that may alter liver or kidney function. Likewise, it is important to monitor patients over 60 years of age, who may be more susceptible to the adverse effects of the medication. Concomitant use with other medications that may affect the central nervous system is recommended to be avoided.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
