Indications
Morebon D3 5000 IU is indicated as a dietary supplement for the prevention and treatment of vitamin D deficiency in adults and children. It is especially useful in cases of osteoporosis, rickets, and osteomalacia, as well as in situations where increased calcium absorption is required. This product is recommended for people with little sun exposure, older adults, and those with medical conditions that affect nutrient absorption. Its use is also suggested for pregnant and breastfeeding women, always under the supervision of a healthcare professional.
Composition
Each Morebon D3 5000 IU tablet contains 5000 IU of cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) as the active ingredient, as well as excipients necessary for the product's formulation.
Contraindications
Morebon D3 5000 IU is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to cholecalciferol or any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in cases of hypercalcemia, hypercalciuria, or diseases that cause increased sensitivity to vitamin D, without adequate medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with kidney or cardiovascular diseases, as well as in those undergoing treatment with thiazide diuretics or who have granulomatous diseases. Monitoring of calcium levels in blood and urine is recommended in patients receiving high doses of vitamin D. In case of symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, or weakness, a doctor should be consulted immediately.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
