Indications
Montaclar is indicated for the treatment of various allergic conditions, including seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, as well as for the management of symptoms associated with chronic urticaria. This medication combines two agents: Montelukast, a leukotriene receptor antagonist that helps reduce inflammation and bronchoconstriction, and Loratadine, an antihistamine that relieves allergy symptoms such as sneezing, itching, and runny nose. The combination of these components allows for effective control of allergic symptoms, improving the quality of life for patients suffering from these conditions.
Composition
Each Montaclar tablet contains 10 mg of Montelukast and 10 mg of Loratadine as active ingredients. Additionally, it contains excipients that facilitate the formulation and stability of the medication.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its components. Its use is not recommended in children under 2 years of age. Likewise, it should not be administered to patients with a history of severe adverse reactions to other antihistamines or leukotriene antagonists.
Precautions
Special care should be taken in patients with severe liver or kidney disease, as dose adjustments may be required. It is important for patients to inform their doctor about any other medical conditions or medications they are taking to avoid interactions. The use of this medication during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended unless strictly necessary and under medical supervision.

Montaclar should be stored in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.
