Indications

Monocorat is indicated for the treatment of angina pectoris, as well as for the prevention of anginal episodes. Isosorbide mononitrate is a vasodilator that acts by relaxing the muscles of blood vessels, allowing for better blood flow and reducing the heart's workload. This medication can be used in patients with congestive heart failure and in those who have undergone cardiac surgical procedures to improve myocardial perfusion. It is suggested that the use of Monocorat be combined with other treatments to ensure comprehensive management of cardiovascular diseases.

Composition

Each Monocorat tablet contains 20 mg of isosorbide mononitrate as the active ingredient, as well as excipients necessary for the product's formulation.

Contraindications

Monocorat is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to isosorbide mononitrate or any other component of the formula. It should not be administered in cases of severe hypotension, severe anemia, or in patients who have recently been treated with phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors. Likewise, its use is contraindicated in situations of acute heart failure or cardiogenic shock conditions.

Precautions

It is important that patients inform their doctor about any other medical conditions they may have, as well as about other medications they are taking, to avoid adverse interactions. Caution is recommended in patients with liver or kidney disease, as well as in those with a history of recent myocardial infarction. Treatment should not be abruptly discontinued without consulting a doctor.

Monocorat should be stored at room temperature, in a cool, dry place, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
