Indications
Modusik-A Ofteno is indicated for the treatment of dry eye (dry eye syndrome) in patients who have not responded adequately to artificial tears. This product helps increase tear production in dry eyes by acting on the lacrimal glands. Cyclosporine, its active ingredient, is an immunomodulator that helps reduce inflammation and improves the function of the tear-producing glands, thus providing significant relief from dry eye symptoms.
Composition
Each ml of Modusik-A Ofteno contains 1 mg of cyclosporine. Excipients: sodium chloride, hydrochloric acid, and purified water.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to cyclosporine or any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in individuals with active ocular infections, as well as in those with autoimmune diseases that may worsen their condition.
Precautions
It is important to exercise caution when using Modusik-A Ofteno in patients with a history of ocular infections or who are undergoing treatment with other ophthalmic medications. Concomitant use of other eye drops is advised against unless specifically instructed by a healthcare professional. Patients should be monitored for potential adverse effects, especially during prolonged treatments.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.

- FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
