Indications
Misdapre Rac is indicated for the treatment of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis in adult and pediatric patients. It is also used in the management of asthma symptoms in patients requiring additional treatment for the control of their condition. The combination of Montelukast and Levocetirizine acts at the level of leukotriene receptors and antihistamines, providing a synergistic effect in reducing symptoms such as nasal congestion, sneezing, nasal and ocular itching, as well as in preventing asthmatic crises.
Composition
Each Misdapre Rac tablet contains: Montelukast 10 mg and Levocetirizine 5 mg, as active ingredients, in addition to excipients such as microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, and magnesium stearate.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Montelukast, Levocetirizine, or any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe renal insufficiency or in those with severe alterations of liver function.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of seizures, as the use of Levocetirizine may be associated with adverse effects in this regard. Furthermore, it is recommended to monitor patients with asthmatic conditions to prevent exacerbations. In case of adverse reactions or unwanted effects, a doctor should be consulted immediately.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.
