Indications
Microgynon 0.15mg/0.03mg is indicated for the prevention of pregnancy. This combined oral contraceptive works by inhibiting ovulation, altering cervical mucus, and modifying the endometrium, which makes fertilization and implantation difficult. Its use is recommended for women of childbearing age who desire an effective contraception option. Additionally, it can be used to regulate menstrual cycles, reduce dysmenorrhea, and treat menstrual disorders.
Composition
Each Microgynon tablet contains 0.15 mg of Levonorgestrel and 0.03 mg of Ethinylestradiol, in a formulation designed for daily dosing.
Contraindications
Microgynon is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, a history of deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism, cardiovascular diseases, breast or genital organ cancer, and during pregnancy or lactation. It is also contraindicated in patients with severe liver disorders.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a family history of thrombosis, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and in those who smoke, especially over 35 years of age. Regular medical check-ups are important during treatment, and the use of alternative contraceptive methods should be considered in cases of severe vomiting or diarrhea.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
