Indications

Meticel Ofteno is indicated for the treatment of dry eyes, providing symptomatic relief in situations where there is decreased tear production or when tears evaporate quickly. It is used in patients with dry eye syndrome, whether due to environmental factors or medical conditions. It is also recommended for use in lubricating and protecting the ocular surface during contact lens wear. Its formulation allows for adequate hydration and protection of the cornea, helping to maintain ocular comfort.

Composition

Each ml of Meticel Ofteno contains 5 mg of Hypromellose, excipients q.s.p. 1 ml.

Contraindications

This medicine is contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to Hypromellose or any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in cases of active eye infections without the supervision of a doctor.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients using other ophthalmic treatments, as interactions may occur. It is advisable to avoid contact of the dropper with non-sterile surfaces to prevent contamination. If persistent symptoms occur or worsen, a doctor should be consulted. Contact lens wear should also be avoided during the administration of this product, unless otherwise indicated.

Storage

Store the product in a cool, dry place, at room temperature. Protect from light and keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
