Indications
Masennus (Atomoxetine) is indicated for the treatment of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children, adolescents, and adults. Atomoxetine acts as a selective norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor, which helps improve attention and decrease impulsivity and hyperactivity. This medication can be used as part of a comprehensive program that includes psychological, educational, and social therapies.
Composition
Each capsule of Masennus contains 25 mg of Atomoxetine as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients that facilitate the formulation and administration of the medication.
Contraindications
Masennus is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to Atomoxetine or any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be administered to patients who are taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or to those with a history of pheochromocytoma, significant cardiovascular disease, or severe liver disorders.
Precautions
Masennus should be used with caution in patients with a history of psychiatric disorders, cardiovascular problems, or seizures. Regular monitoring of blood pressure and heart rate is important during treatment. Special care should also be taken in patients with a family history of suicide or suicidal behavior.
Storage
Store the medication in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
