Malival Ap 50 mg is indicated for the treatment of various painful and inflammatory conditions. It is used for the management of acute and chronic pain, as well as in rheumatic disorders, including rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. It is also prescribed for the treatment of gout and to relieve postoperative pain. Its anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect makes it suitable in situations where a reduction in inflammation and pain is required, thus improving the patient's quality of life.
Composition
Each Malival Ap capsule contains 50 mg of indomethacin as the active ingredient. Additionally, it contains excipients such as gelatin, glycerin, and other components that facilitate the formulation and stability of the medication.
Contraindications
Malival Ap is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to indomethacin or any other component of the formula. Furthermore, it should not be used in cases of active peptic ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe renal insufficiency, or during the third trimester of pregnancy. Its use should be evaluated in patients with a history of asthma, heart disease, or hypertension.
Precautions
Caution is recommended when administering Malival Ap to patients with gastrointestinal diseases, kidney or liver diseases, as well as in the elderly. It is important to monitor renal function and blood pressure during treatment. Prolonged use may increase the risk of digestive and cardiovascular adverse events.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
