Indications
Madecassol is a medication indicated for the treatment of skin lesions, such as burns, wounds, ulcers, and dermatitis. Its main action is based on the healing and regenerating properties of Centella Asiatica, which promotes the repair of damaged tissues. This medication is used in the management of dermatological conditions that require improved wound healing and skin regeneration, as well as in the treatment of first and second-degree burns. It can also be useful in the treatment of stretch marks and in the prevention of hypertrophic and keloid scars after surgical interventions.
Composition
Each Madecassol sachet contains: Centella Asiatica (20 mg) and excipients necessary for its formulation. It is recommended to follow the doctor's instructions regarding the form and frequency of use.
Contraindications
Madecassol is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in infected lesions or deep wounds without the supervision of a healthcare professional.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using it in patients with a history of allergic reactions to plant-derived products. A prior skin test is recommended for patients with sensitive skin. In case of irritation or adverse reactions, discontinue use of the product and consult a doctor.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the packaging.
