Indications
Macmiror Complex V is a medication indicated for the treatment of vaginal infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to its components, primarily in cases of bacterial vaginosis and vaginal candidiasis. It is indicated for the restoration of vaginal flora and for the relief of symptoms associated with these conditions, such as itching, burning, and abnormal vaginal discharge. The combination of Nifuratel, an antimicrobial agent, and Nystatin, an antifungal, allows addressing different types of infections simultaneously, providing comprehensive treatment.
Composition
Each ovule contains: 500 mg of Nifuratel and 20000 units of Nystatin.
Contraindications
Macmiror Complex V is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It should not be used in cases of severe or serious vaginal infections without medical supervision.
Precautions
It is recommended to use this medication under the supervision of a healthcare professional. It is important to inform the doctor about any other medications the patient is taking, as well as their medical history. Use during pregnancy is not recommended unless indicated by a doctor. Avoid prolonged use without proper medical evaluation.
