Indications
Macmiror Complex V is indicated for the treatment of fungal and bacterial infections of the skin and mucous membranes. It is effective in the management of candidal dermatitis, Trichomonas vaginalis infections, and other mycotic infections. Additionally, it is used in the treatment of infections associated with prolonged antibiotic treatments, as it helps restore the normal flora of the skin and mucous membranes. It can also be indicated in cases of vulvovaginitis due to candidiasis, balanitis, among other dermatological conditions. Its combined action of Nifuratel, an antimicrobial agent, and Nystatin, an antifungal, allows for the effective treatment of mixed infections.
Composition
Each 100g of cream contains Nifuratel 10g and Nystatin 4,000,000 IU. Excipients: purified water, glycerin, and others.
Contraindications
Macmiror Complex V is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients who experience adverse reactions to antifungal or antimicrobial agents. Its use in children under 12 years of age should be evaluated by a physician.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of allergic reactions to medications. It should not be applied to open wounds or irritated skin. If irritation persists or worsens, discontinue use and consult a physician. Its use in pregnant or breastfeeding women should be evaluated under medical supervision.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
