Indications
Lyrica is indicated for the treatment of diabetic neuropathy, postherpetic neuralgia, and neuropathic pain in adults. It is also used as adjunctive therapy in patients with partial epilepsy, as well as for the management of generalized anxiety disorder. Pregabalin works by modulating the release of neurotransmitters in the central nervous system, which contributes to the reduction of pain and the frequency of epileptic seizures.
Composition
Each Lyrica capsule contains 75 mg of pregabalin as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that facilitate its formulation and absorption.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to pregabalin or any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe renal insufficiency without dose adjustment, as well as in pregnant or breastfeeding women, unless strictly necessary and under medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Lyrica to patients with a history of substance abuse, as well as to those with depression or mood disorders. It is essential to monitor patients for adverse reactions, especially at the start of treatment or when changing the dose. In addition, abrupt discontinuation of the medication is recommended to prevent the occurrence of adverse effects.

Store the medication in its original packaging, at room temperature (between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius), protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
