Indications

Lomexin Cream is indicated for the treatment of fungal infections of the skin and mucous membranes. It is used in the management of dermatoses caused by fungi, including cutaneous and vulvovaginal candidiasis, as well as in the treatment of dermatophyte infections. It is also useful in the treatment of fungal infections affecting the skin, especially those presenting with itching, inflammation, and erythema. Fenticonazole acts by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of the fungal cell membrane, which contributes to the elimination of the pathogen and the reduction of associated symptoms.

Composition

Each 100 g of cream contains: Fenticonazole 2 g, excipients q.s.p. 100 g.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to fenticonazole or any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended for bacterial or viral skin infections, or in cases of ulcerations or open wounds in the application area.

Precautions

Care should be taken when applying Lomexin Cream to large areas of skin or to broken skin. If irritation or an allergic reaction occurs during treatment, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Its use in pregnant or breastfeeding women should be evaluated by a doctor, considering the risk-benefit ratio.

Storage

Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
