Indications

Lodarta is indicated for the treatment of arterial hypertension in adults and the prevention of cardiovascular events in high-risk patients. Furthermore, it is used in patients with type 2 diabetes and chronic kidney disease, as well as in those with dyslipidemias who require control of LDL cholesterol and triglyceride levels. This medication combines the antihypertensive effects of Amlodipine and Losartan, together with the hypolipidemic action of Rosuvastatin, providing a comprehensive approach to the management of patients with cardiovascular comorbidities.

Composition

Each Lodarta tablet contains:

  • Amlodipine 5 mg
  • Losartan 100 mg
  • Rosuvastatin 10 mg

Contraindications

It is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, in those with severe active liver disease, as well as in pregnant or breastfeeding women. It should not be administered to patients with bilateral renal artery stenosis or in a single functional kidney.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with renal insufficiency, hepatic insufficiency, as well as in those with a history of angioedema. It is important to monitor renal function and electrolytes in patients receiving treatment with this medication, especially in those undergoing diuretic therapy.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
