Indications
Loceryl 0.25% Cream is indicated for the treatment of cutaneous fungal infections, including those caused by dermatophytes, yeasts, and molds. It is particularly effective in the treatment of onychomycosis (nail infection) and dermatomycosis. This medication works by interfering with the synthesis of components of the fungus's cell membrane, resulting in its death and elimination. Its use is recommended in cases of localized infections that have not responded to previous treatments. Furthermore, it is important to follow the application instructions to ensure treatment efficacy.
Composition
Each 100 g of Loceryl Cream contains 0.25 g of amorolfine as the active ingredient. Additionally, it contains excipients such as cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, and other components that facilitate the application and absorption of the product into the skin.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to amorolfine or any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is not recommended on areas of broken skin or skin affected by dermatitis. Likewise, it should not be used in patients with secondary bacterial infections or in cases of severe fungal infections without medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using Loceryl Cream in patients with a history of skin diseases or relevant medical conditions. It is important to avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. In case of irritation or adverse reaction, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor consulted. Its concomitant use with other topical treatments is not recommended without the supervision of a healthcare professional.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
