Indications
Limagal is indicated as a magnesium supplement, used in the treatment and prevention of magnesium deficiency in the body. It is especially useful in situations of physical or mental stress, in cases of intense physical activity, or in diets deficient in magnesium. It is also used in the regulation of muscle and nerve function, contributing to the maintenance of electrolyte balance. It can be beneficial in the management of conditions such as muscle cramps, fatigue, and general weakness associated with low magnesium levels. Furthermore, it has been used in the management of nervous system disorders, such as anxiety and insomnia, although always under medical supervision.
Composition
Each Limagal tablet contains 750 mg of magnesium lactate as an active ingredient. Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, among others.
Contraindications
Limagal is contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to magnesium lactate or to any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is not recommended in cases of severe renal insufficiency, as it can lead to magnesium accumulation in the body. It is also contraindicated in patients with heart block or severe heart function disorders.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Limagal to patients with kidney, heart, or neuromuscular diseases. Regular monitoring of magnesium levels is recommended in patients undergoing prolonged treatment. Likewise, a doctor should be consulted before starting treatment in special populations, such as pregnant or breastfeeding women, and in patients taking other medications that may interact with magnesium.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
