Indications
Levante is indicated for the treatment of various inflammatory and allergic skin conditions, as well as for the management of respiratory diseases. It is effective in the treatment of allergic rhinitis, where it helps to reduce inflammation and associated symptoms, such as nasal congestion, sneezing, and itching. It is also used in the treatment of allergic dermatitis and other inflammatory conditions that require an anti-inflammatory approach. In the respiratory field, it is prescribed for the treatment of conditions such as asthma, where it contributes to reducing inflammation of the airways, thus facilitating breathing. It is important that its use is under adequate medical supervision to ensure the effectiveness of the treatment and the management of any potential adverse effects.
Composition
Each 100 ml of suspension contains 0.05 mg of mometasone furoate as the active ingredient. Excipients: purified water, glycerin, among others.
Contraindications
Levante is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to mometasone furoate or any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be used in untreated local infections or viral skin lesions, such as herpes simplex or varicella.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with systemic infections or those with autoimmune diseases. Prolonged use may cause systemic adverse effects, so regular medical follow-up should be considered during treatment. Its use in children is not recommended without proper medical supervision.
