Indications
Lerk (Sildenafil) is indicated for the treatment of erectile dysfunction in adult men. Erectile dysfunction is characterized by the inability to achieve or maintain an erection sufficient for satisfactory sexual activity. Sildenafil works by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation, which facilitates an erection. It is important to note that the effectiveness of the medication depends on sexual stimulation, so it does not produce an erection on its own.
Composition
Each Lerk tablet contains 100 mg of Sildenafil as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that facilitate its formulation and absorption.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to any component of the formula. It should not be administered to patients who are taking nitrates or nitric oxide donors, as it can cause a severe drop in blood pressure. It is also contraindicated in cases of severe heart failure or severe liver failure.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, uncontrolled hypertension, or any condition that may predispose to a cardiovascular event. Likewise, it is recommended to evaluate the use of Lerk in patients with central nervous system-related diseases, such as multiple sclerosis or spinal cord injuries. Excessive alcohol consumption should be avoided, as it may decrease the effectiveness of the medication.
