Indications

Lenvixi (Lenvatinib) is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with differentiated thyroid carcinoma (DTC) that has progressed despite radioactive iodine therapy. It is also used in the treatment of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) in combination with the PD-1 inhibitor, pembrolizumab, as well as in the treatment of advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC). This medication works by inhibiting multiple tyrosine kinases involved in angiogenesis and cell proliferation, which contributes to the reduction of tumor growth.

Composition

Each Lenvixi capsule contains 4 mg of Lenvatinib as the active ingredient. Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, and other excipients.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Lenvatinib or any component of the formulation. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women, as well as in patients with severe liver diseases.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiovascular diseases, uncontrolled hypertension, or coagulation problems. Regular monitoring of liver and kidney function is recommended during treatment. Concomitant use of medications that may affect Lenvatinib metabolism is not recommended.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature between 15 and 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package.
