Indications

Lamisil Cream is indicated for the treatment of skin infections caused by fungi, including:

  • Dermatophytosis (skin, hair, and nail infections caused by dermatophyte fungi).
  • Yeast infections, such as cutaneous candidiasis.
  • Tinea corporis (fungal skin infection on the body).
  • Tinea pedis (athlete's foot).
  • Tinea cruris (infection in the groin area).

Terbinafine, the active ingredient in Lamisil, acts by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of the fungal cell membrane, which contributes to their death and elimination.

Composition

Each 1 g of Lamisil Cream contains 10 mg of terbinafine (as terbinafine hydrochloride) and excipients such as cetyl alcohol, propylene glycol, and others.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to terbinafine or to any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in children under 12 years of age, unless medically indicated.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of liver or kidney disease. It is important to avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. In case of irritation or allergic reaction, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor consulted.

Storage

Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
  4. Orders received after 2:00 PM will be shipped the next day.
