Indications
Ladogal (Danazol) is indicated for the treatment of various medical conditions related to hormonal dysfunction. It is used in the management of endometriosis, a condition in which tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside of it, causing pain and menstrual irregularities. In addition, it is prescribed for the treatment of fibrocystic mastopathy and for the prevention of cyst formation in the ovaries. Ladogal is also used in the treatment of certain forms of hereditary angioedema and in the management of hemorrhagic anemias.
Composition
Each Ladogal capsule contains 100 mg of Danazol as the active ingredient. It also includes excipients that facilitate the formulation and stability of the medication.
Contraindications
Ladogal is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to Danazol or to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women, as well as in patients with a history of active liver disease, thromboembolic disorders, or in those with severe hyperlipidemias.
Precautions
It is important that the use of Ladogal be supervised by a physician, especially in patients with pre-existing conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, or cardiovascular diseases. Regular medical follow-up is recommended to evaluate the response to treatment and detect possible adverse effects. Prolonged use of Danazol can affect liver function and lipid levels, so liver function tests are suggested before and during treatment.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package.
