Indications
Kriadex (Clonazepam) is indicated in the treatment of anxiety disorders, panic disorders, and as an adjuvant therapy in the treatment of convulsive disorders. Its anticonvulsant and anxiolytic action makes it useful in situations where a reduction of excessive neuronal activity is required. It is also indicated in the treatment of certain forms of insomnia and can be used in the management of withdrawal symptoms in patients with substance dependence.
Composition
Each ml of Kriadex contains 2.5 mg of Clonazepam as an active ingredient. Excipients: purified water, glycerin, anhydrous citric acid, among others.
Contraindications
Kriadex is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to clonazepam or any other component of the formula. It should not be administered to patients with severe respiratory diseases, such as respiratory failure, or in those with a history of drug or alcohol dependence.
Precautions
Special care should be taken when using Kriadex in patients with a history of depression, liver and kidney disease, as well as in the elderly. This medication may cause drowsiness and affect the ability to drive or operate machinery. It is important to avoid alcohol consumption during treatment.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
