Indications

Klodex (Clonazepam) is indicated for the treatment of anxiety disorders, panic disorders, and as an adjunctive therapy in the treatment of certain types of seizures, including absence seizures and tonic-clonic seizures. It is also used in the management of withdrawal syndromes and as a sedative agent in minor surgical procedures. It is important that the use of Klodex be supervised by a healthcare professional due to the nature of its action on the central nervous system.

Composition

Each Klodex tablet contains 2 mg of Clonazepam as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that facilitate its formulation and stability.

Contraindications

Klodex should not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to Clonazepam or any of the excipients. It is also contraindicated in cases of myasthenia gravis, severe respiratory insufficiency, and in those with a history of substance abuse. Its use during pregnancy and lactation must be carefully evaluated by a physician.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with a history of depression, liver disease, or who are receiving other medications that affect the central nervous system. Alcohol consumption should be avoided during treatment with Klodex, as it may enhance its sedative effects. Abrupt discontinuation of treatment can result in withdrawal symptoms, so gradual tapering under medical supervision is suggested.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children and protect from light. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
