Indications

K- Asmal Syrup is a medication indicated for the treatment and prevention of bronchial asthma symptoms, as well as for the treatment of allergic rhinitis. Its action is based on the inhibition of the release of inflammatory mediators from mast cells, which contributes to the reduction of bronchial hypersensitivity and improves respiratory function. This medication is especially useful in patients with a history of asthmatic episodes and in those who present symptoms of seasonal or perennial allergy.

Composition

Each 5 ml of syrup contains: Ketotifen 20 mg. Excipients: sorbitol, glycerol, ascorbic acid, flavorings, and purified water.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to ketotifen or any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with a history of severe allergic reactions to other antiallergic medications.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with liver or kidney diseases, as well as in those who are being treated with other medications that affect the central nervous system. It is important to monitor the response to treatment and adjust the dose if necessary. Use during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended unless strictly necessary and under the supervision of a physician.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
