Indications
K-Asmal is indicated for the treatment of symptoms associated with seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, as well as for the management of allergic conjunctivitis. This medication acts as an antagonist of H1 histamine receptors, helping to reduce symptoms such as sneezing, itching, rhinorrhea, and nasal congestion. Additionally, it can be used in the treatment of bronchial asthma in patients requiring complementary control of their disease, especially those with a history of allergic reactions.
Composition
Each K-Asmal tablet contains 1 mg of Ketotifen as the active ingredient, as well as excipients necessary for its formulation.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Ketotifen or any of the excipients. Its use is not recommended in people with severe liver or kidney disease without medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering K-Asmal to patients with a history of epilepsy or seizures. It is also recommended to monitor patients who are taking other medications that may affect the central nervous system, as Ketotifen can enhance their effects. It is important to avoid alcohol consumption during treatment.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
