Indications

Itravil Ifa (Clobenzorex) is indicated as part of a comprehensive obesity treatment program, which includes a hypocaloric diet and adequate physical activity. Its use is indicated in patients with a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or higher, as well as in those with a BMI of 27 or higher who have associated comorbidities, such as type 2 diabetes, arterial hypertension, or dyslipidemias, where weight reduction can improve the patient's health status. This medication acts as an appetite suppressant, helping to reduce caloric intake and facilitate weight loss.

Composition

Each capsule contains: Clobenzorex 30 mg, excipients q.s.

Contraindications

It is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to clobenzorex or any of the components of the formula. It should not be used in individuals with a history of drug abuse, severe cardiovascular diseases, uncontrolled hypertension, glaucoma, prostate hyperplasia, or in those taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs). Its use during pregnancy and lactation is also contraindicated.

Precautions

Special care should be taken in patients with a history of psychiatric disorders, such as depression or anxiety, as well as in those with cardiovascular diseases. Blood pressure and pulse should be monitored in patients using this medication. It should not be used in combination with other anorexigenic drugs.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
