Indications
Itravil AP is indicated as part of a treatment program for obesity. Its use is recommended in patients with a body mass index (BMI) equal to or greater than 30 kg/m², or in those with a BMI equal to or greater than 27 kg/m² who have associated comorbidities, such as type 2 diabetes, hypertension, or dyslipidemia. This medication acts as an appetite suppressant, helping to reduce caloric intake and facilitate weight loss in conjunction with a low-calorie diet and increased physical activity.
Composition
Each Itravil AP tablet contains 60 mg of Clobenzorex, as well as excipients necessary for its formulation. The action of Clobenzorex is related to its ability to increase the release of neurotransmitters that regulate appetite.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to the components of the formula, in those with a history of substance abuse, as well as in patients with severe cardiovascular diseases, uncontrolled hypertension, glaucoma, or hyperthyroidism. It should not be used during pregnancy or lactation.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of psychological or psychiatric disorders, as well as in those taking other medications that may interact with Clobenzorex. Regular medical monitoring is essential during treatment to evaluate the response and adjust the dose if necessary.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
