Indications
Iprikene Antidiarrheal Suspension is indicated for the treatment of acute diarrhea in adults and children over 3 months of age. This medication works by reducing intestinal secretion and improving fluid and electrolyte absorption, which contributes to a rapid recovery. It is effective in cases of infectious or non-infectious diarrhea and can be used as a complement to oral rehydration. It is recommended to follow the doctor's instructions for correct use and dosage of the product.
Composition
Each sachet of Iprikene contains 3 g of racecadotril as an active ingredient, as well as excipients suitable for the suspension formulation.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to racecadotril or any of the excipients in the formulation. Furthermore, it should not be administered in cases of persistent diarrhea or in the presence of high fever and blood in the stool, as these symptoms may indicate a more serious condition requiring immediate medical attention.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, as well as in those who are being treated with other medications. It is important not to exceed the recommended dose and to consult a doctor if symptoms persist for more than 48 hours. In cases of severe dehydration, adequate rehydration should be initiated before using this product.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
